Genetec is eConnect’s deepest video-management integration. Recognition results, watchlist hits, and identity records are delivered into Security Center as live alarms and events, so the operator works in the interface they were trained on and never learns a second system.

How the partnership works

eConnect ingests camera streams already registered in Security Center, runs facial recognition and behavioral analytics against them, and writes the result back as a native Genetec event. A watchlist match raises an alarm on the operator’s existing monitoring workspace, bookmarked to the exact frame, with the subject’s enrollment photo, match confidence, and prior-visit history attached.

The integration runs both directions. Genetec cardholder and badge data flows into eConnect identity management, so a face captured at a door can be reconciled against the credential that opened it. Alarms acknowledged in Security Center close the corresponding eConnect event, keeping one audit trail across both systems rather than two that drift apart.
